Split an image into equal pieces
Cut any picture into a grid and download every tile at once. Ideal for Instagram carousels, photo puzzles and large prints.
Drop a photo to split it
Cut an image into an even grid — perfect for Instagram carousels. Nothing is uploaded.
Why split an image?
The most common reason is social media: posting one wide photo as a 1×3 carousel, or turning a picture into a 3×3 feed mosaic so a profile grid forms one big image. Splitting is also used to tile a poster across several printed sheets.
The preview shows exactly where the cuts will fall, so you can adjust rows and columns before exporting. Every tile keeps the original resolution of that section — nothing is scaled down.

- 2Choose a preset like 3×3 or 1×3, or set your own number of rows and columns — the dashed guides show the cuts.

Frequently asked questions
How do I split a photo for an Instagram grid?
Drop your photo and select the 3×3 preset for a feed mosaic, or 1×3 for a carousel post. Download the ZIP and upload the tiles in order.
Do the pieces lose quality?
No. Each tile is cut at the original resolution of that region, so there is no resizing or upscaling.
How are the files named?
Each piece is named with its row and column, for example photo-1-2.jpg, so you always know where it belongs in the grid.
