When you need to change a photo's date
A photo's date lives in its EXIF metadata as the Date Taken. It can be wrong for all sorts of reasons — a camera clock that was never set, a wrong time zone, a scan of an old print that lost its original date, or footage imported with today's date instead of when it was shot.
